Mikey von Mittweida is a stunning 16 month old long haired German Shepherd. He comes out of the kennel with a pretty serious demeanor and initially pulls on the leash but, if corrected the first few times he does it, he will stop. Mikey needs a handler who will set boundaries and not allow any misbehavior. He is a quick learner and very eager to please his humans. Once comfortable, he can be the biggest cuddle bug. Mikey enters the play yard and meets the other dogs well, and can be playful. After the introductions and roaming the yard a bit, he doesn’t show interest in them, preferring instead to mind his own business and stay by his handler. He will stand by you at all times if you let him. Later on he prefers to lie down and just watch everyone. He is smart and protective. Mikey is good in the yard, knows ‘Sit’ and ‘Down’, loves to learn, is treat-motivated and housebroken.
